Privacy Policy
OCMT has established this privacy policy to explain to you how your information is protected, collected and used, which may be updated by OCMT from time to time. Notifications of significant changes in this policy will be disclosed sent via email to any existing users, in addition to being updated on this page.
1. Protecting your privacy
- We don't run banner ads, pop ups, pop unders, or any other kind of commercial ads.
- We don't share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We don't engage in cross-marketing or link-referral programs with other sites.
- We don't employ tracking devices for marketing purposes ("cookies", "web beacons," single-pixel gifs).
- We don't send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes.
- Account information is password-protected. Keep your password safe.
- Forums use basic webserver authentication. Close your browser to log out.
2. Data we collect
- We collect email addresse sand phone numbers only as a way to stay in contact with our students. This contact information is necessary for billing, scheduling, reschedulin, and other important notifications.
- We collect the personal information from our students, such as names and ages, only for obvious reasons. This information is stored in a secured database, and we use this information to distinguish students from other students, as well as to match our students up with the approprate teacher. This information does not leave the company
- OCMT does not store credit card information. Credit card transactions are done through Google Checkout, and all security measures are taken by their secure checkout process.
- We collect a timestamp at the moment of registration, as well as with each time you log in to your account. This helps us to understand the frequency in which accounts are used and created.
3. Data we store
- Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
- Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security. However, we can guarantee that the information stored is not nearly enough to put your identity at risk. Information stored is as follows: name, phone, email, age (for students only). No credit card information is stored within our databases.
5. Circumstances in which OCMT may release information
- OCMT may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
- OCMT may also disclose information about its users to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our Terms of Use; respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of craigslist, its users or the general public.
